The End Of Outgoing Faxes

The End Of Outgoing Faxes.

Back in 1964, The first recognizable version of what we consider the telephone fax was invented by the Xerox company, but the technology that led to that advancement was created much earlier. In fact, it was Alexander Baine in 1843 who invented the electric printing telegraph.

Fast forward to 2023, and mix NBN and fax machines togetter and you will find they dont mix well with voip lines.

So queue the sad music, we have made a very hard decision to put our outgoing fax machines into a well earned retirement from the end of May 2023.

So what does this mean?

Reports and letters that have been sent via fax in the past will no longer happen.

We will now send these reports and letters by Email.

If the document is sensitive it will be sent via registered post as we currently do.

Our current fax number, 03 9994 3226 will continue to receive incoming faxes from our external provider for legal and compliance reasons.
