The Good Friday Appeal is here and once again we have staff members volunteering at MCEC!

Today our staff are volunteering at Kids Day Out at the MCEC (Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre), and as always the volunteers are out shaking the iconic purple tins at traffic intersections, answering calls or going door-to-door.

Melbourne is home to the World Class Royal Children’s Hospital, which delivers the best possible care to patients. Donations to this amazing hospital assists in Research, Equipment & Technology, Patient and Family Centred Care, Leadership, education, and training.

It is because of the public’s commitment that the appeal is able to fund ground breaking research, state-of-the-art equipment, education, and family-centered care programs at The Royal Children’s Hospital. For the first time in the appeal’s history since 2024, a portion of funds will help take the RCH excellence into the regions by funding equipment and scholarships at six regional health centers – Barwon Health, Bendigo Health, Grampians Health, Goulburn Valley Health, Albury Wodonga Health, and Latrobe Regional Health.

Since the appeal’s humble beginnings in 1931, when it raised 427 pounds from a sports carnival, The Appeal has now raised over $492 million in 2025. The Appeal continue to make a lasting difference in the lives of countless children and their families.

We are proud to support this amazing Hospital, that has touched and supported many children and families for many years.

You can donate online anytime: www.goodfridayappeal.com.au

For those who feel you can support the Appeal, even if it’s just the dollar or two you would normally drop in a tin, it will make a massive difference to the kids.
